Why This Role is Extraordinary

Want to make real impact with your marketing skills? At Hope for Kids (HFK), we believe stories change lives—and momentum follows clarity. This internship places you at the heart of that momentum: coordinating campaigns, supporting teammates, and helping a 30-year legacy reach new audiences nationwide. You’ll grow fast, lead with purpose, and see your work move people to action.

What You’ll Do

Here’s how you’ll make an immediate difference:

  • Assist & Coordinate Campaigns: Partner with the Communications Manager to plan and execute social, email, and announcement pushes that keep our message bold and consistent.

  • Lead & Support a Crew: Help guide interns and ambassadors with upbeat check-ins, light project tracking, and a can-do culture that removes roadblocks.

  • Storytelling & Content Oversight: Collaborate with staff to collect stories of hope; support the Media Intern to ensure posts and graphics are high-quality and on-brand.

  • Community Engagement: Brainstorm creative engagement hooks; host comment threads and DMs that make supporters feel known and invited.

  • Strategy & Logistics: Maintain calendars, organize assets, track basic engagement metrics, and turn promising ideas into clear next steps.

  • Outreach: Email and call church leaders to set intros and appointments that open doors for future partnerships.

What You Bring

We’re excited to meet someone who is:

  • A natural organizer who thrives on checklists, timelines, and seeing projects through.

  • A clear communicator—comfortable writing posts, emails, and brief updates; confident when speaking with partners.

  • Detail-oriented and reliable with follow-through.

  • Collaborative and encouraging—someone others want on their team.

  • Mission-driven, excited by faith-centered service and community impact.

  • Tech-comfortable with Google Workspace, Zoom, and basic social tools (Canva or similar is a plus).

Why Hope for Kids?

HFK is more than a nonprofit—it’s a joyful, roll-up-our-sleeves community that believes hope is built together. We celebrate small wins, pray when things get tough, and rally around breakthroughs. Your work will directly help kids and families feel seen, supported, and inspired.
