LEGACY FUND
An Exciting Partnership with The Solomon Foundation
A Unique Opportunity
for Hope for Kids
From now through May 2027, The Solomon Foundation is offering a special opportunity for the Hope for Kids community: when a new Legacy Fund is opened, TSF will provide an additional gift to Hope for Kids equal to 50% of the value of the new fund.
That immediate support will help Hope for Kids care for and improve our camp property, strengthen the programs and operations that make camp possible, and create more opportunities for children and young leaders to encounter God, build meaningful relationships, and grow through mentoring and service.
And the impact does not have to stop with one generation. Legacy Fund holders can appoint successor advisors, allowing children or other family members to continue recommending charitable grants from the fund in the future.
What is the Legacy Fund?
A Legacy Fund is The Solomon Foundation’s name for a type of Donor Advised Fund, or DAF — a charitable giving account that allows you to make a contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction subject to applicable tax laws, and then recommend grants to qualifying charities over time.
You decide when to recommend grants and which eligible organizations you want to support, including Hope for Kids. Think of it as a dedicated charitable giving account: your contribution is set aside for charitable purposes, while you help direct where that generosity makes an impact.
