The Hope for Kids Umbrella
As we have said before, at Hope for Kids our mission is our name. So what does that look like practically? Insert our programming umbrella! All our programs target a specific need with the heart of providing transformation and mentorship to multiple communities.
Camp
Miracles
Camp Miracles is a program of Hope for Kids which focuses on giving yout from Philadelphia the opportunity to connect with mentors, peers and nature at our beautiful 88 acre camp facility in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania. Campers are paired up on-on-one with high school and college aged mentors from around the world.
Leadership
Academy
Also know as HFKLA, this program is an intensive 5-week program for older teens & campus students. Program attendees learn invaluable leadership skills by imitating Jesus while serving at Hope for Kids camp.
R Camp
Geared for our youngest campers, 3rd through 8th graders, R Camp provides the opportunity for these children to learn spiritual, emotional, and character-building values as nature’s miracles are explored.
Teen Camp
Teen Camp is focused on meeting the needs of students in 7th to 12th grades. As the campers get older, we start to address deeper spiritual and personal topics while still interweaving the bigger-than-life, 'camp' experience.
Performing
Arts Camp
The Performing Arts Camp was created for those students in 7th-12th grades who wish to use their talents to serve God. The Instructors at the PAC week are disciples “in the business” who teach the students how God can use their talents to glorify him.
Sports Camp
This sports conditioning camp was created for those students in 7th-12th grades who wish to use their athletic talent to serve God. The Sports Camp instructors are disciples who were professional or collegiate athletes. They teach the students how God can use their athletic talent to glorify him.
Special Week
of Camp
The Special Week of Camp is a five day camp designed especially for the families of campers who may have social challenges and/or special needs of all ages. We also have a Young At Heart Program for adults where they learn life skills and have lots of fun together. Ages range from 18 and up. YAH participant will need to be accompanied by a parent or a personal aid.
Chance of
a Lifetime
An immersive experience for post-graduates and close to finishing campus students. COAL, as it is known, gives a chance for these young adults to spend 15 months of their life learning about modern ministry in three distinct phases; Camp season, Boston, and finally international.
