2018 Full-Time Staff Information

Thank you for your interest in applying for a full-time camp staff position for 2018. To be considered for a position, you must complete the application below and it must be submitted by January 8, 2018. We will do our best to let you know something no later than February 15, 2018.

The 2018 Staff will need to be available from approximately May 30-August 19, 2018. A staff position is usually 10-12 weeks long. Full-time camp staff receive room and board for the weeks they are at camp and a small stipend. The experience you gain is priceless.

Please note:

• Applicant MUST be at least 18 years old ( by May 31, 2018 ) and a member in good standing in your current congregation. Preference will be given to those applicants with prior HFK Leadership experience.

• Assistant and “In-Training” positions are available for those 17 years of age (rising HS Seniors) and older with limited compensation and flexibility on start and end dates.

• Hope for Kids is only able to hire about 20 FT Staff. If you are not selected to be part of the staff, so please strongly consider applying for the Hope for Kids Leadership Academy (HFKLA),

• Jobs available include (but are not limited to): HFKLA interns, HFKLA Coordinators,  Camp Directors, Arts & Crafts, Property Manager, Property Assistant, Crew Chief, Great Hall Coordinator, Great Hall Assistant, Galley Coordinator, Allergy Kitchen Manager, Cooks, Activity Directors, Aquatics Director (must be at least lifeguard certified, prefer WSI), Infirmary Coordinator & Administrative.
