HOPE for Kids Programs
Below are descriptions of programs we assist and/or coordinate. If you have any further questions about how HOPE for Kids is involved in any of these programs, please contact us.

R-Camp and Teen Camp
HOPE for Kids - Programs - CampsR-Camp and Teen Camp are both weeklong overnight camps. R-Camp is geared toward 3rd through 8th graders. Teen Camp is focused on meeting the needs of high school students. Team building camp activities encourage character development and healthy relationships among peers from diverse backgrounds.


Saturday Academy
HOPE for Kids - Programs - Saturday AcademyThe Saturday Academy was developed to provide a safe environment on Saturday mornings for elementary and middle school children in North Philadelphia. The Academy curriculum includes a variety of fun classes such as: computer technology training, cultural studies, performing arts, sports, and photography. The program promotes character development; teaches conflict resolution skills; builds self-confidence,self-respect and responsibility.

HOPE Youth Corps
HOPE for Kids - Programs - HYCThe HOPE Youth Corps (HYC) is a volunteer opportunity for high school and university students established in 1994.

HYC participants become trainers and spend several weeks working with HOPE worldwide programs around the world including US cities.



CAMP MIRACLES
HOPE for Kids - Programs - Camp MiraclesThe HYC CAMP MIRACLES is a leadership training camp for 9 to 18
year olds in North Philadelphia. It is sponsored by HOPE worldwide and HOPE Youth Corps.Using our healthy lifestyle, character development and environmental awareness curriculums, CAMP MIRACLES teaches and models good character  development with fun as well as safe and challenging summer camp activities.
